Continuing the Great Traditions...

Descending from the line that can be traced back to one of the most virtuosic pianists of the last century, Ferruccio Busoni (Kiser's mentor Reiko Matsuzaki was instructed by Susumu Nagai, a student of a famed Russian émigré, Leo Sirota, who was a protégé of Busoni), Kiser is known for her technical brilliance, great depth of tone, and interpretive intensity. Combining her early vigorous training with the great legacy of the Serkins, Kiser is emerging as one of the leading instructors in the field.

Kiser taught piano minor students at The Juilliard School. Currently she works with aspiring pianists of all ages and levels. To be considered for instruction, please e-mail mollykiser@hotmail.com

"Dear Dr. Kiser,

I would like to thank you for teaching me so much about piano - and music in general - this past year. You showed me how to pay attention to and polish technical details, and how to understand and convey the passion that underlies so many different kinds of pieces. I only wish I were able to study with you longer, though I'm confident I'll retain at least the most important things I've learned from your lessons, and apply them to my playing. I wish you the very best of health and happiness, and hope to be able to see you again."

(The student was accepted into Stanford)
